I just submitted some 30 x 30 cm unframed pieces (and 10 of my lovely new greeting cards) to Visual Arts Scotland’s Now and Then Exhibition at Dalkeith Country Park. I didn’t submit for the Open Submission for this exhibition, due to the logistics of getting work down from the Outer Hebrides for a relatively short amount of time exhibiting. (Yes, I am having to become a bit more choosy about which Open Calls I apply for now I live in the Hebrides), but I was delighted to discover, that as a Member I am still eligible to submit for the 30 x 30cm.
I actually love the 30 x 30 cm as all work is unframed and less than £250, so it’s a great opportunity to pick up a piece of work by an artist whose work you love, at a reasonable price. I have submitted two of my favourite new embossed cyanotypes.
