Description
Sadly there wasn’t enough interest to run this workshop in UIg this year, but it will still be running in Stornoway on Sat 6th 10.30- 1pm and Grinneabhatt on Wed 10th 6.30-9pm and there are a couple of places still available for both workshops.
A fun and creative way to welcome in Yuletide. Come along and make your own wild wreath, with artist Jenny Smith.
We will start with a slide show exploring the creative possibilities of wild wreath making and looking at examples from previous course participants. You will then be given step by step instructions on how to make your own unique wild wreath from locally foraged greenery (including making a base with foraged moss) and tips on how to keep it fresh in the run up to Yuletide.
All materials provided, including a selection of locally foraged foliage and ribbons, baubles, etc to personalise. You are also welcome to bring in foliage from your garden/local area and anything else that you might like to include to make it even more personal.
All welcome. No previous experience required. We will have some festive music playing and a complimentary glass of mulled fruit juice will be provided. A great present for yourself and others and wonderful festive activity to do with friends and loved ones. Gift Vouchers available.
Numbers will be limited, to allow for individual attention and group discussion, Pre-booking is advised. Gift Vouchers available. Any questions or if you prefer to book in person, please email jenny@jennysmith.org.uk or phone 0771 3901 730
