I have been commissioned to produce a new piece of artwork for Cupar Arts Festival this year, following on from the success of the piece I made in Cupar in 2013. This year I have been be working with visitors to the Age Concern Day Centre in Cupar, creating work from their hand written answers to the title question. The final piece is a laser cut clear acrylic cube, which when lit, creates beautiful ethereal shadows in the surrounding space. It will be situated in the Historic Burgh Chambers in Cupar.
Jenny Smith is a contemporary artist, living and working on the Isle of Lewis, whose work explores our embodied experience of memory, process and place.
Her award-wining work is exhibited nationally and internationally and is available to purchase. Jenny is also happy to work to commission.
